Oklahoma Open Records Act and You
Public institutions in Oklahoma are subject to the Open Records Act. What are your obligations under the Act? What exemptions are available? What should your process look like? How do you shape the message when providing records? This session will address all these questions and more.
Brandee R. Hancock received a J.D. with honors from the OU College of Law in 2012, where she was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review and the Order of Barristers. After practicing as an associate with Ellis & Ellis in Stillwater, she joined the Office of Legal Counsel for the Board of Regents for the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical Colleges in June 2014. Brandee served as Treasurer of the Payne County Bar Association in 2014 and as President in 2015.
