INTRODUCING Jason Whitely
Monday MORNING BREAKOUT SESSION 9:45-10:30 a.m.
Producing Impactful Videos
This session will explore how to sniff out the best stories on campus, successful interviewing techniques and creating a memorable and shareable video story that can be distributed on any platform. The best stories revolve around people and evoke emotion. This session will discuss how to find those individuals on campus and get the people to reveal. Choosing to go to a college or to support a college is sometimes a practical decision, but there is always an emotional dimension.
Telling stories using video is a priority today given the increasingly digital nature of communications. Social media posts that include video receive higher engagement. Videos on websites are eye-catching. But there is an art to making it memorable.
