2024 Annual Awards Competition

The 2024 Awards Competition is now open and we’ve added new categories! Visit ocpra.awardsplatform.com to submit your entries. A Step-by-Step guideline is located on the right column if you need additional assistance.

About This Competition

The Oklahoma College Public Relations Association Awards Competition recognizes the best in contemporary communications from educational institutions -- both public and private -- throughout the State of Oklahoma.  This annual competition was created in 1992 by the OCPRA to reward achievement, recognize excellence and encourage a healthy competitive spirit by those who represent higher education to the public.  Materials are submitted by individuals who work in public relations, sports information, video, development or alumni affairs at any of the state’s higher education institutions. Entrants are not required to be members of OCPRA.

Contest Information

ELIGIBILITY - Any project produced or implemented by an Oklahoma institution of higher education, whether public or private. Entries from June 2023 through May 2024 will be accepted. A single project can be entered in more than one category.

JUDGING - Entries will be judged by panels of experts in their respective fields who are not OCPRA members. Each category will have two judges and their scores will be combined to calculate a winner,
