Onward! A Short History of the Future of the Web in Higher Education
Trying to understand the digital space in higher education can sometimes seem like you’re building the car while driving it. And, well, it is—it’s fast-moving, with twists and turns, and occasionally you may feel a little bit out of control. So let’s buckle in and get a grip on where the web is going and why it matters. In this engaging and informative talk, Georgy will review the current landscape (and how we got here) while painting a vivid portrait of trends and emerging best practices for digital success—and discussing how to apply them in the unique context of higher ed. You will come away with a better understanding how to make the web work for you and the communications objectives of your institution.
