Data Driven Decision Making
We now have access to more data than anyone can effectively use. What are the questions communication professionals in higher ed should be using data to answer and which reports provide the best answers? The session will provide an introduction to how you can establish, maintain and leverage a sustainable data measurement environment to cultivate the use of evidence in strategic decision making.
Jimmy Hart has been an Advancement and Communications professional in higher education since 2007, when he joined University Relations at The University of Tulsa, his alma mater. He also has served at Rogers State University, Oral Roberts University, and is currently the director of marketing for The University of Alabama’s division of Strategic Communications.
In his current role, Hart is responsible for stewarding the “Where Legends Are Made” institutional campaign, while overseeing collaborative work with Advancement & Development, Admissions and Enrollment Management, Financial Affairs and Student Affairs. His areas of primary focus include omnichannel marketing, data management and analytics, and team building.
