Bio:

Margarita Rodriguez discovered graphic design on accident, while pursuing an accounting education that just didn’t add up. Once introduced to the concepts of design, she embraced the field with its colors, textures, papers and software platforms. She spent six years with the University of Oklahoma’s Printing Services, where she designed high-level pieces for state non-profit organizations, multiple colleges, and the university. During this time, she also was the lead designer for El Latino American, a bilingual newspaper in Oklahoma City serving the Hispanic community, and participating in the Latino Leadership program. Her ten years of experience in branding, illustration, marketing, photography, photo editing and videography have benefited the OU Gallogly College of Engineering, where she has worked the past four years.

Margarita is eager to keep learning and experimenting with dynamic forms of creativity to enable successful communication through design. Margarita lives in Norman with her husband and baby girl.
